The ones that promise to do all the work while you relax and make thousands of dollars a day only working a few hours a week, should immediately raise a red flag. Make thousands per day only working 90 minutes per day - work in your pajamas - work from your holiday home - fire your boss - attain financial freedom - retire early. These marketers understand that buying a product is driven by human emotions and by instilling hope, they do just that by capitalizing on your needs.
A scam is a scam and the most common scams in circulation in no particular order are:
- Envelope Stuffing - This is the one that is in almost every classified ad I have seen.
- Craft Assembly is one way that gullible people are being duped. The home crafter is encouraged to assemble toys, dolls, teddy bears, jewelry, flowers, pot pourrie sachets, aprons, baby burp mats and the list is endless. They are required to purchase a start up kit of the necessary materials, with the understanding that they will purchase the completed items back from you. After considerable time and expense, the home worker is told that due to 'quality control' requirements the goods are not up to standard specifications and are rejected.
It is wise to investigate each and every home business opportunity and save yourself from being scammed. Do not be afraid to to ask other people's opinions. These are some of the checks you can carry out before committing yourself to a program:

This example of a company disclaimer is an indication that the claims of easy work from home business opportunities are not always what they are portrayed to be and have obviously been grossly exaggerated.
